Cathedral Catholic School, A School To Believe In
Attendance Zones
Welcome To Cathedral Catholic School!
At Cathedral Catholic School we pride ourselves in creating a safe and welcoming place for you and your child, a place of warmth, hospitality, good humour and joy; as stated in the RCCDS Board's Vision Statement; a place that promotes the beliefs and values we hold.
We believe that we live in a created, not a random universe, in which we are creatures created by a loving God' that life is therefore meaningful and purposeful' that community is important to human beings and that they find the meaning of their lives in it; that we are stewards of the world God has given us; that we have a duty to develop our talents for the good of others and the glory of God; that we can fulfill that duty by emulating the way, the truth, and the life exemplified by Jesus Christ; that children are gifts of God given to parents and that parents are their primary educators' that the school system exists to help parents with that duty; and that the duty includes the development of all aspects of the child, the young person, and the adult, as he or she progresses through life.

If you are thinking about registering and enrolling your child(ren) in a Catholic school, why not consider Cathedral. It's important to note that each school within Renfrew County has a 'catchment' area, from which children are drawn, to attend a certain school this 'catchment' is called an attendance zone.
Each attendance zone has specific boundaries within which you must reside in order to be eligible to attend a certain school.
Cathedral's boundaries extend from the Ottawa River to the North, certain rural areas to the South, Peter Street to the East and Christie Street to the West. Students who live on the West side of Peter Street and the East Side of Christie Street, would be eligible to attend Cathedral Catholic school. For further information, don't hesitate to call the school at (613)732-8054.
Come to Cathedral, we would love to work with you and your children!
